Is Pakistan showbiz reflect Islamic Republic of Pakistan?? (RIP, Pakistan style awards)

The trend of wearing short dresses among Pakistani actresses is escalating. The escalation of this trend will lead to a devastating end for Pakistani culture. As the media is the main source of reflecting the culture of any state or nation. It is not only a source but it can also spread anything quickly. The message and culture can spread through dramas, films, or any other kind of program.

As acting is an art of highlighting the different aspects of society. These highlighted aspects deliver through drama, film, or any form of the show to the world. The people or persons who play roles in drama or film are called artists. 

The focal point of an artist should be the acting. He/she should deliver their role well. An artist should focus on how he is delivering his dialogues and his character in the given act. An artist should be aware of the message that is hidden in his character. Moreover, he should also be aware that either he reflects the Pakistan culture through his role.
 
No doubt Pakistani dramas are best. Pakistani dramas are casting a positive image of our society. The culture of Pakistan reflects through many dramas. Furthermore, dressing in some dramas also reflects the true culture of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. But the majority of Pakistani programs are not following the true culture of Pakistan.

Let's put a glance at the Pakistan fashion industry. At present, these fashion shows are just providing a platform for spreading vulgarity and nudity such as lux style award show, Hum style awards, etc.

Background and Motive of Lux style awards' creation:

Lux style award show takes place every year. It takes place in Dubai every year. These awards not only watched in Pakistan but also in the entire world. 1st Lux style award was developed by Naheed Chaudary and produced by Frieha Altaf in 2002. Their motive was the creation of a sustainable legacy to pay tribute to the people of the art and culture arena. 

The motive of Hum Awards is also the same. But if we put a glance at the recent Hum Awards 2021, it is just the reflection of western culture. Is the theme and dressing of various artists reflecting the culture of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan? The short and sleeveless dresses wore by the models and artists in the Hum awards reflect that they are owning the west culture. 

Pakistani models are not following the Pakistan Culture. These fashion shows are delivering the message to the world that they can not own their state's culture. Further, the minds of Pakistani artists are not free. They are unable to make themselves different from the westerns. 

Solution:

Pakistan Government should ban such kind of fashion shows. These shows are just the sources of spreading vulgarity in society. PEMRA should take strict actions against those who do not reflect the culture of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. If the artists or models of Pakistan can not own the culture of Pakistan, the Pakistan government should disown them.
