MPT for CSS Competitive Exam
What is CSS MPT?
MCQs-based Preliminary test is a compulsory qualifying test to apply for the CSS main written exam. It is just like an admission test; it'll not be counted as a chance for appearance in the CSS written exam. MPT consists of 200 multiple-choice questions with one mark each without a negative mark. The Person who gets 33% (60 marks out of 200) in MPT, he can apply further in the CSS main written exam.
Why is MPT mandatory for CSS now?
Thousands of candidates
apply for competitive exams just to check the pattern and nature of the exam.
But half of them don’t even enter the examination hall. The remaining candidates
take the examination; some leave the exam after attempting one paper, and the rest take all. Among thousands of Candidates, Only 2% of candidates pass the CSS written exam. That’s why FPSC has made MPT compulsory for appearing
in the CSS main written exam since 2021.
Who can apply?
Eligibility criteria to apply in MPT CSS:
A person with:
i.
At least 2nd division in
bachelor’s degree.
ii.
Age between 21 to 30 years on the cut-off
date 31-12-years.

If you prepare compulsory Subjects for the CSS written exam, you will qualify for the MPT 2025. You should prepare compulsory Subjects; Islamiat, Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, General Science & Ability, and English by October. You will not only get a passing score in MPT 2053 by using this strategy but Compulsory subjects will also be prepared. Further, you should read Dawn or any Newspaper.
